Lake

This new coarse fishing lake is 2800m2 in size and has been planted with a full variety of aquatic plants to enhance nature with both the angler and the environment in mind. Varieties which include, White Lilly, Plantain, Dock, Bur Reed, Sedge, Glyceria, Yellow Flag Iris, Aquatic Mint, Crack Willow, White Willow, Sallow, Ossier and Alder.

The lake is stocked with a variety of fish which include Carp, Bream, Tench, Chub, Roach, Rudd and Perch. (Carp in double figures).

This coarse fishing lake was extensively stocked and planted in spring 2011 and will be open to the public early August 2011.

Concessions (up to 16 years and over 65's) - £5.00

Rules For Fishing

• Barbless hooks only
• No braided hook lengths
• Soft landing mat to be used
• No keep nets
• Fishing from pegs only
• No free line - a float must be used
• No blood worm or joker
• No boilies or nuts
• No type of meat based pet foods
• No fires, stoves or BBQs
• No alcohol to be consumed around the lake
• All litter to be taken home or put in bins
• No night fishing
• Adhere to pathways
• All fish caught to be returned in landing net
• Open hours: 6:00am till 8:45pm
• Gates will be locked at 9:00pm (give yourself time to vacate)
• An adult must accompany any childred under the age of 16
• A current EA license is required
• No swimming
• Managment reserve the right to refuse entry to the lake
